Data Recovery… how do I go about it?
- Courier or hand-deliver the media together with a signed diagnosis form (PDF file you can download) to our office.
- We diagnose and assess recoverability of the media. We will give you a free quotation, which will include the estimated time-frame for recovery, the estimated chance of recovery (%) and whether spares will be needed.
- You can then make an informed decision to continue. After receiving your signed approval, the recovery process can begin.
- We will keep you informed of our progress to the best of our ability. Recovered data will be stored on a DVD (if 4GB or less) or a destination hard drive, which we can provide if necessary.
- If we cannot recover your data, you will not be invoiced for the attempted recovery labour. Any non-refundable fees will be stipulated on the quote beforehand, so there are no hidden costs.
