There are several reasons why you may need to appoint the services of South Africa’s leading data recovery specialists. Data can be lost for several reasons, many of which are completely beyond our control. A thunderstorm miles away can trigger a pulse of extra high voltage that can cause your computer to crash.
It can corrupt files, damage the partition of your hard drive or physically damage your computer and its components. The damage may be caused maliciously by a virus or by other malware. Damage can be minimized if you do regular backups, but you may be forced to call in data recovery specialists. One look at the testimonials on this website is all you need to make up your mind whom to call.

Having a hard drive crash out on you or losing important data from one can be a very upsetting experience, especially when you or your business totally relies on the computer for everyday work. There are innumerable reasons why this could take place, but when it does you will be pleased to know that there is a South African data Recovery Company called Intratec on hand to give you assistance.
The cost and time it takes to recover the data on your hard drive is going to depend on why it crashed or why the data was lost. It could be a very simple process (in some cases it may even be possible for you to recover the data yourself) or it could be quite time consuming and involve expensive spare parts, but in nearly all cases a Intratec can help.

Notebooks and laptops are becoming more and more popular. Apart from their obvious moveability, and because they are battery driven, notebooks are unlikely to suffer damage due to mains electricity dips and surges or nearby lightning strikes, though the latter is still possible if the notebook happens to be connected to a network. Notebook data recovery is far more likely to be needed when there has been physical damage to the machine due to dropping it, fire or liquid damage or component failure in the machine.
Data recovery for a notebook can be accomplished in exactly the same way as for a PC – the only difference is in the size of the machine. Because it is so much smaller than a PC, the job tends to be a little more difficult and intricate.

Most of us at some time or another have either accidentally lost an important file or had one damaged in some way that prevents us from opening it. Twenty years ago, unless you were a computer expert, that would have been catastrophic. But things have changed. If you really know what you’re doing, it is sometimes possible to recover this type of data loss yourself. However, that is not the situation with the majority of people. You can, however, make the job easier for the data recovery experts.
How do you do that? By making sure that you make regular backups of your data files, either on a daily basis for the files you have been working on, or on a weekly basis, or better still by sticking to a backup strategy. If you do make regular backups it may be possible for you to recover the lost data yourself without even calling in the data recovery experts such as ourselves.

The millennium scare had one positive outcome – it made people aware of the importance of data, and one of the results was the formation of a number of emergency data recovery services around the globe. One such company to be founded in the year 2000 was Intratec Data Solutions. Francois and Chris de Jager started the company in Cape Town. Business boomed, and it wasn’t very long before they decided to open branches in Johannesburg and Durban as well.
When you think of the millions of computers in the workplace, it is pretty evident that there are going to be hard drives that fail from time to time. It’s an unfortunate fact that mechanical things wear out or suffer breakdowns of one form or another. Hard drives are particularly prone to failure because they don’t only suffer mechanical failure from time to time, but are also vulnerable to virus and other malware attacks, and, because the storage medium is magnetic, to fluctuations in power voltage as well. I lightning bolt many miles away can send a sudden surge of electricity down a power cable that eventually ends up in your computer and can do major damage. You can have a motherboard burn out, suffer corruption on your hard drive, or experience some other form of damage. When that happens it’s time to call in the emergency data recovery services.
If you have the untoward misfortune of having a hard drive failure and need to call on emergency data recovery services, call Intratec for a speedy solution. They are the number one data recovery solution in the country.
