laptop & Notebook Recoveries

Notebooks and laptops are becoming more and more popular. Apart from their obvious moveability, and because they are battery driven, notebooks are unlikely to suffer damage due to mains electricity dips and surges or nearby lightning strikes, though the latter is still possible if the notebook happens to be connected to a network. Notebook data recovery is far more likely to be needed when there has been physical damage to the machine due to dropping it, fire or liquid damage or component failure in the machine.

Data recovery for a notebook can be accomplished in exactly the same way as for a PC – the only difference is in the size of the machine. Because it is so much smaller than a PC, the job tends to be a little more difficult and intricate.

Notebook and Laptop recovery

Intratec Data Recovery can recover lost data from Notebook or Laptop computers just as well as they can from a desktop PC or any other computer. Laptops and Notebooks are just a little more compact and you may not be able to remove the hard drive from them yourself, in which case you may have to dispatch the whole unit to us. If you cannot deliver the computer in person to us, you should be extremely careful how you package it, as we cannot be responsible for any damage it may incur during its passage to us. There should be at least 15cms of insulation around this type of computer or indeed a desktop if you have to courier one to us. It should also be clearly marked as being fragile.
