About Intratec
Intratec Data Solutions opened its doors in the year 2000, and from humble beginnings, the company has grown to being one of the leading Data Recovery specialists in the country. We were the first company in the Western Cape to offer Open Drive Recovery Services using state of the art certified clean room facilities, and the success of the Cape Town operations led to branches opening in Johannesburg and Durban.
The company’s energy is reflected in our young and dynamic management team. Founder member Francois De Jager is involved in the day to day running of the business in his capacity as Managing Director, and is supported by our Technical Director, Christopher “Jack” Jacoby, who joined the team shortly after its inception. In Johannesburg the team is ably lead by our Branch Manager Gavin Taylor. We are firmly committed to the growth and development of our employees, and a comprehensive BEE strategy was implemented in 2004.

Areas of Expertise
Data Recovery forms the core business of Intratec Data Solutions. Lost data can be recovered from all types of media from old floppy disks to RAID Systems and flash drives. Initial diagnosis of the media allows our technicians to supply the client with an informed quotation prior to the actual recovery attempt. This gives the client the opportunity to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the recovery before choosing to proceed or not.
