Recover Computer Data

You may one day be unfortunate enough to have your computer crash out or freeze on you, and nine times out of ten it’s because the computer cannot access some of the data on the hard drive. It may be that the hard drive has completely crashed – this could be a physical reason like damage to the read/write heads, it could be because the FAT (file allocation table) has been corrupted or it could be because some of the files themselves have been damaged.

There are other reasons, but let’s stick to the more common ones. 80% of the time it is possible to recover computer data completely. Depending on the actual problem, it may take quite a time to recover all of the data for you, but in an emergency we will try to carry out a same day recovery.

We can also recover computer data from laptops and notebooks. The principles for these mini computers are the same as for PCs, but because of their size the procedures are different. In essence the only difference as far as Intratec goes is that the equipment and instruments that we use to recover computer data from laptops is so much smaller and more delicate than that used for PCs.

If we cannot recover your data on your premises, then you may have to remove the hard drive from your PC and send it in to us. Remember that a hard drive is a very delicate piece of machinery, and it must be treated with kid gloves. It must be protected as though it were a new laid egg, well wrapped in bubble wrap or shredded paper. Never use polystyrene pellets.
